Registered Associate Marriage & Family Therapist, AMFT #141404
Throughout her journey as a mental health clinician, Ream has been blessed to work with a diverse set of clients, with the youngest being 6 years old and the oldest being 70 years old. The areas she finds interest in working in are cultural challenges, multicultural awareness, depression, anxiety disorders, trauma-related disorders including PTSD, adjustment disorder, acute stress disorder, emotional regulation, self-esteem, and coping skills. Ream uses an integrative approach to therapy. With a person-centered and humanistic approach as the main theme, she integrates CBT, DBT, Mindfulness therapy, play therapy, an attachment-based approach, multicultural therapy, and family systems.
Her hope is for her clients to achieve their goals whether that be through setting boundaries, overcoming struggles, creating healthy coping skills, or simply getting through a hard day. Her goal as a therapist is to demonstrate to her clients that they are fully capable of achieving anything and are more resilient than they could ever imagine. She received her BA in psychology from Fresno State and her MS in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling from Fresno State as well. She had the pleasure of serving the community through Fresno Family Counseling Center where she received training in marriage and family therapy.
