Ream works with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, using an integrative, person-centered approach. She brings compassion and empathy to her work, helping her clients manage overwhelm, set healthy boundaries, and develop effective coping skills. Ream’s overarching goal as a therapist is to empower her clients to tap into their innate ability to overcome challenges and move forward.

Ream also specializes in working with children. Utilizing evidence-based play therapy techniques and a collaborative approach with parents, she helps children build emotional awareness and develop healthy regulation strategies. She supports children navigating life transitions such as welcoming a new sibling, blending families, divorce, separation, or the loss of a loved one. Ream also works with children experiencing anxiety, including separation anxiety and school- related stress. She partners with parents to provide guidance on reinforcing therapeutic progress at home.

As someone who grew up in a Middle Eastern community, Ream understands the complex cultural, familial, and spiritual dynamics that can influence mental health. She is especially passionate about supporting children and families from Arab, Muslim, Middle Eastern, South Asian, and Eastern Indian backgrounds, recognizing that cultural expectations and traditions can sometimes make seeking mental health support feel challenging. By providing a welcoming, culturally sensitive space, she helps clients feel understood and supported in their unique experiences. Fluent in Arabic, she ensures that language and cultural nuances are honored throughout the therapeutic process.

Ream earned her BA in Psychology and MS in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling from California State University, Fresno. She also received additional training and experience at the Fresno Family Counseling Center. Ream is currently available for in-person sessions with children, families, and adults. Additionally, she offers telehealth sessions for adults throughout California.

Ream's Blog Articles

With the ebbs and flow of life, people often lose hope and get lost in the darkness of events. It’s in such moments of darkness and despair that love and hope are renewed. Therapy provides that support, a helping hand in clarifying the “whys” of life. Humans are strong creatures that can overcome unimaginable obstacles. Sometimes a little support is all we need to get through the day.
